It is all about luck!
A man from Sydney was in shock when as he was rejoicing following a lottery windfall in Australia, he became a winner again less than one week afterward. He found this unbelievable. The man, whose identity is yet unknown and he is in his 40s and is a resident of Bondi suburb.
On Monday, the previous week, he won Aus$1,020,457 (US$770,000), and later on Saturday won another Aus$1,457,834.
On Monday when he was notified about his lucky break, he informed NSW Lotteries,
“I simply believed this could not be true as it was too incredible.”
The prospects of winning two times in a very short span of time like this are just not possible. “If only I had some suggestions to give to others on how to become lottery winners; however, I do not.”
When he was questioned on how he would spend the money, he stated, “I will use it sensibly”
He intends to invest in some real estate in Sydney, purchase another vehicle and “obviously go to Honolulu for a vacation.” Organizers of the lottery were unable to approximate the possibility of winning two times in one week; however, the winning odds are 1 in 1.845 million.
“We are unaware of any other person who has become a winner two times in a week,” Matt Hart, the spokesman of NSW Lotteries informed AFP. “We have experienced individuals who win two times in the course of their lives, but not two times in one week. It is extremely odd and exceptional. In Australia, lotteries are very famous and there are a few operators in the private sector as well as state-owned.”
The major latest winner was a Victoria state man who won Aus$55 in January.
